Seismic reinforcement method for stone masonry walls: "Pin-up Method"
Space-saving construction is possible! It is economically advantageous and maintains the drainage properties of stone walls.
The "Pin-up Method" is a seismic reinforcement technique aimed at stone masonry walls constructed in self-supporting ground. By partially injecting a hardening agent into the backfill stones behind the masonry, the stones are solidified. This method integrates the rubble stones and backfill stones, preventing displacement of the masonry wall's front and loosening of the backfill stones, thereby enhancing the seismic resistance of the masonry wall. 【Features】 ■ By partially solidifying the backfill stones in the masonry wall, it is economically advantageous while maintaining the drainage properties of the masonry wall. ■ The use of relatively short reinforcement materials allows for construction with compact equipment. ■ Construction can be carried out in a space-saving manner. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
